The Process
Below I have outlined a basic process flow based on a typical coaching engagement. While every engagement is unique we will adjust this model as is necessary to reflect the goals and priorities of the individual coaching assignment.
Step 1: Meeting with the Client.
The Client is usually defined as the coachee’s manager or the HR team to whom I will report.
Step 2: Introductory Meeting
Along with an introductory interview, this meeting will provide an opportunity for a chemistry check for both the coachee and the coach to ensure a successful coaching relationship.
Step 3: Contracting Meeting
At this meeting, the Coachee, the Manager, a representative from HR (optional, determined by HR’s role within the organization and coaching process), and the coach will set Goals for the coaching process.
Step 4: Assessment
I am trained in a wide range of assessment tools including 360 Degree Feedback Interviewing, the LPI Instrument, the DISC, and the MBTI.
Step 5: Assessment Results Delivery
Step 6: Formulation of Development Plan
Step 7: On-Going Coaching
Coaching will continue, according to the specifics outlined in the Development Plan, supporting the Goals established at the Contracting Meeting. In general coaching session occur three times a month for 60-90 minutes per session.
